Indiana State University (ISU) ranked as the #1 most affordable distance learning masters for students seeking nursing education online. Online students nationwide will pay a low cost of about $ 10,996 for a distance nursing degree from the Indiana state school.
Among online nursing programs, Lamar University, a state school in Texas, ranked as the #2 most affordable online degree for its Master of Science Nursing ($ 11,005 for Texas residents; $ 22,475 for all others). Jacksonville State University (Alabama) ranked #3 for its online Master of Science Nursing/Clinical Nurse Specialist ($ 11,664).
The University of Delaware offered the least affordable online nursing degrees in the survey at an estimated cost of just over $ 42,000 for either a Master of Science Nursing/Adult Health or a Master of Science Nursing/Pediatrics.
However, the University of Delaware’s distance learning Master of Science Nursing / Health Services Administration ranked #6 on GetEducated’s Best Buy list at a cost of just over $ 12,000.
